Is Holy Mothers of Orthodoxy : Women and the Church worth reading?

it's an odd little grab-bag of essays, ranging from little rants to homilies to proper scholarly articles, very loosely unified by the common themes of "orthodoxy" and "women". I'm planning to pick up a used copy, for one particular article about a hymnographess.
