I bought the Torjesen the last time I was at Powell's in Portland but haven't yet read it cover to cover. In fact, all I can remember about it at the moment is that the cover is quite pretty.

It's not really so much about the historical evidence of women priests. It's mostly about patriarchalist mechanisms of marginalizing women. Interesting, serious, important, valuable, but not well-represented by the title.
