I'm looking to learn more about religious practice in Persia between the Islamic conquest and the Mongols (roughly 632-1218), with emphasis on the interactions between Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians. I want the kind of book that talks about home as well as public observance: names, burial practices, that sort of thing. Any suggestions?
